• Opening of Myanmar Headquarters & Showroom for sales of commercial vehicles and construction equipment, located in the Anawartha Industrial Zone in Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Western Yangon, Maynmar.
• Launched a renounceable underwritten rights issue of warrants on the basis of 1 warrant for every 4 shares.

• The Official launch of our first iconic mixed-use development - The Gateway in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, comprising a 36-storey office tower with 299 units, 39-storey residential tower with 572 units, 2 storey retail floors and a 7-storey carpark podium, located along Russian Boulevard, the Central Business District of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

• Ventured into Myanmar market with joint venture partner to pursue business in the sale and distribution of petroleum fuels and lubricants.
• Obtained BCA approval to operate overseas test centre in Philippines.
• Appointed as distributor of Shell's automotive and industrial lubricant products in Myanmar.

• Expanded into the distribution of high performance motor oil and lubricants with the acquisition of Sino Tac Resources.
• Strategic entry into Thailand through joint venture with experienced Thai partners to develop a mixed-use development near Bangkok.

• Embarked on a joint venture with several Singaporean partners to develop a township in Dalian City, PRC, which comprises residential developments, commercial shop spaces, a shopping mall, a hotel and a school.

• Incorporated Aston Air Control Pte Ltd, which focuses on the design, installation and maintenance of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems. Aston Air control Pte Ltd is also an authorised dealer of air conditioning systems to Daikin Airconditioning (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.

1999

• Established SinoTac Builder's (S) Pte Ltd to undertake the main construction work for our Group's real estate development projects.

1998

• Established our Indian subsidiary, TAC Resources (India) Private Limited, which operates our test centre in Chennai, India.

• Ventured into the real estate development business with our first project – the development of a commercial property, New World Centre.

• Tiong Aik Construction Pte Ltd was registered with a BCA grading of A1 under the category of CW01 for general building, which qualifies us to undertake public sector construction projects with unlimited contract value.
• Established Credence Engineering Pte. Ltd, to complement our core construction business.

• Registered our business under the name Tiong Aik Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore.

1972

• Started out as a contractor undertaking projects for governmental bodies such as the URA, HDB and JTC undertook our first project-the construction of the hawker centre formerly situated at Empress place.
